About Blaire

Blaire Crutchley, LPC (OH), APC Pending (GA)
Child and Adolescent Trauma Therapist in Alpharetta, GA

Some people spend so much of their lives trying to keep up, hold everything together, or understand why life feels harder for them than it seems to for everyone else. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you don't have to face it alone. I believe healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where children, teens, adults, and families can explore their experiences without judgment, build practical coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. I have a special passion for working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I tailor treatment to each client's unique strengths, values, and goals. For those who desire it, I also thoughtfully integrate faith into the counseling process.

Therapy isn't about becoming someone different—it's about finding the freedom to become more fully yourself. Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you

My Philosophy

I believe every person has inherent worth and every behavior has a context. People are not defined by their diagnoses, their trauma, or the hardest moments of their lives. My role as a counselor is not to tell people who they should become, but to help them better understand themselves, heal from what has hurt them, and discover the strengths they already possess. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where authenticity, curiosity, and compassion come first. Healing happens when people feel safe enough to tell the truth about their experiences without fear of judgment or shame. From that foundation, meaningful change becomes possible.

My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and deeply collaborative. I believe therapy should be both emotionally validating and practically useful. Together, we explore patterns, build skills, process difficult experiences, and work toward goals that align with each client's unique values and vision for their life.

Above all, I believe hope is a clinical intervention. No matter how overwhelmed, stuck, or discouraged someone feels today, healing is possible. My hope is that every person who walks into my office leaves feeling more understood, more empowered, and more confident that they do not have to face life's challenges alone
