The field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy is enjoying a renaissance, as research is finally catching up with law, policy, and our social understanding about these powerful medicines.  Currently, the only legal psychedelic therapy is being done with ketamine.  However, we anticipate that both MDMA and psilocybin  will be legalized in the coming years and approved for use by prescription for treating various mental health conditions.  As an example, MDMA-assisted psychotherapy has shown in clinical trials to provide immense relief from PTSD symptoms, with over 60% of participants no longer qualifying for a PTSD diagnosis after treatment.
